Abstract:
This portfolio presents my journey and experiences in the field of counselling. All the
learning I did during my 2-year Master of Education Program with Career Development
as my area of specialization consists of Career Theories. Artifacts from these courses
are highlighted in the competencies. The portfolio aims to demonstrate my competence,
growth and commitment to supporting individuals in their personal and psychological
well-being. The work also emphasizes the importance of ethical practical, selfawareness
and continuous learning in the field of counselling. It also highlights the
special elements of each of the foundational courses I took in the program, as well as
my understanding of the legal and ethical aspects of counselling and some of the
techniques in the document that direct the Client-Counsellor relationship. Lastly, it
shows my own reflections and development in working with individuals who have
guidance and counselling issues
