La structure narrative à l’image d’une société en pleine mutation une étude de le temps de tamango De Boubacar Boris Diop

Abstract

La recherche esthétique qui caractérise le roman négro-africain de la troisième génération est une stratégie d'écriture qui se manifeste aussi chez Boubacar Boris Diop. Cette étude qui oriente la reflexion sur la problématique de la complexité de la structure narrative de Diop et de son rapport avec la société qu'il dépeint s'intitule «La structure narrative à l'image d'une société en pleines mutations: Une étude de Le Temps de Tamango de Boubacar Boris Diop». Elle analyse comment la situation socio-politique de la société sénégalaise au lendemain des indépendances est exprimée par le choix que Diop fait de certaines techniques romanesques et révèle à quel point la structure narrative de Le Temps de Tamango expose la structure de la société sujette à de nombreux changements. Il ressort en effet qu'une relation réciproque existe entre la structure narrative fragmentée et désordonnée de l'auteur et la structure des sociétés africaines indépendantes en général. Ce qui met en évidence le rapport entre le littéraire et le social; rapport qui est établi par la dichotomie de l'imaginaire et du réel et par la question identitaire de l'Africain colonisé. Abstract The aesthetic (The writing style) that characterizes the third generation of francophone African writers is a literary writing strategy that is also reflected in Boubacar Boris Diop literary works. This study, which highlights the complexity of the narrative structure of Diop and establishes its relation with the structure of the society he depicts is entitled "The narrative structure in the image of a society subjected to changes: A Study of Le Temps de Tamango of Boubacar Boris Diop." The study seeks to analyze how the socio political situation of the Senegalese society after independence is expressed by the choice that Diop makes of some literary techniques and reveals the extent to which the narrative structure of Le Temps de Tamango exposes the structure of that society which has undergone many changes. It is clear that a close relationship exists between the fragmented and chaotic narrative structure of the author and the structure of the post independent African societies in general. This shows the relationship between literature and society; a relationship that is underlined by the dichotomy of the imaginary, the magic and the real and the question of hybridity of the African.
